Lemon Law Advocate Burdge
Honored Again as the Only Ohio Lemon Law Super Lawyer - 4th Year
in a Row
Founder of State’s First and Oldest Lemon
Law Firm Honored
For
the fourth year in a row, attorney Ronald L. Burdge has been named
as the only Lemon Law Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics magazine.
Burdge restricts his practice to Lemon Law and Consumer Law cases.
The Ohio Super Lawyer results were published in the January 2007
issue of Cincinnati Magazine.
Burdge is licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio and
handles Lemon Law cases and Consumer Law cases in both states. “My
mom’s family is from the Lexington area,” Burdge said, “and
my father’s side is from Ohio, so it was natural that we
help consumers get rid of lemon cars in both states.”
This is the most recent honor for the lemon law lawyer, whose
efforts have previously been featured on Ohio and Washington, DC,
radio and television programs and newspapers. Burdge has also received
the prestigious Consumer Law Trial Lawyer of the Year award from
the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
The “Super
Lawyer” honor is only awarded to the top 5% of Ohio attorneys
and the selection process is explained in detail on the www.SuperLawyer.com website.
More than 35,000 attorneys were asked to evaluate attorneys they
had personally observed in action. The results were then reviewed
by a blue ribbon research panel using more than a dozen criteria
of excellence, including professional achievement.
Burdge is a frequent guest lecturer to national, state and local
Bar Associations and Judicial organizations. He has also been awarded
the Consumer Law Trial Lawyer of the Year award by the National
Association of Consumer Advocates, a national group of Consumer
Law attorneys and government officials.
Licensed to practice law in several states, Burdge has represented
thousands of consumers in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Texas
and elsewhere since 1978 in Lemon Law, defective product and Consumer
Protection cases. He also frequently mentors and coaches Consumer
Law attorneys around the country and has testified as an expert
witness in over a dozen cases nationally.
Burdge has also frequently testified before the Ohio legislature
on Consumer Law issues and proposed laws. The firm’s web
sites are widely recognized as authoritative sources for consumer
help and guidance.
